Following on from the recent NHSx Techforce19 challenge which helped us validate our product at scale, we are gaining momentum with the integration of additional functionality to meet the demands of care home managers and agencies. As one of the 800 successful companies out of 8,500 applications, we are really pleased to announce that our next phase of development for SureCert is being funded by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency.
As preferred suppliers to Scottish Care and Care England, we know that staffing is a major issue for care home managers – between the general shortage of staff in the care sector and the need to ensure cover due to high levels of staff absence.
With the support of Innovate UK, SureCert is developing a rapid, digitised staff onboarding process to help care home managers and agencies reduce the time and effort spent in this area.
This is in line with our mission to develop frictionless digital processes that get people into work quicker.
Innovate UK: Project Plan
The project started at the beginning of this month and will continue until the end of September. It involves integrating 6 additional features into the SureCert Platform:
1. Enhanced Criminal Record Checks
2. Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Checks
3. Adverse Credit Checks
4. Confirmation of all UK Degrees
5. Digital Interviewing Integration
6. DocuSign Integration
The first 4 features will enhance the existing functionality and the last 2 provide bookends to the onboarding process from digital interviewing in the initial stages to the final legal agreements ahead of starting work. It is a digitised system enabling rapid onboarding of staff which is ideal for the care sector or any sector with a need for a complete digital recruitment package.
If you are interested in how our solution could help your organisation to digitally onboard candidates, we invite you to test our software now and as it progresses through development. We are keen to ensure that our solution meets the needs of those requiring end-to-end digital recruitment so you are welcome to request access even if your requirements are outside of the care sector.
